Day 12 Catch Up

Hi friends. It's day 12 of our extended road trip and  we're in Minneapolis hanging out with family and enjoying the comforts of a house, shower and delicious food.  Internet access has been sparse!  
For those of you who might be wondering what the crap we've been doing, here are the highlights:

Drove across back road of Eastern Washington, Biked to the Grand Culee Dam
Spent several relaxing days with Ryan's family in Spokane
Dined with great friends the Flannigans and their FIVE awesome kids
Biked 36 miles through a hail storm in Montana.
Drank beers with good friends in a tiny Fish Bar in Macalister Montana
One close encounter with a BIG bison at Yellowstone
Evening run through Custer State Park in South Dakota
Early morning hike and bike ride in the Badlands
Ate steak with Justin Deberg (Ryan's step-bro) in Sioux Falls, SD
Got profiled by Minnesota police (THREE cars!) for driving below the speed limit in a camper van,  had our van searched by a drug dog, hung out in a field with the cops. 
And now: spending several glorious days with Darren, Claire and Gloria in Minneapolis.
